Hockey world pays homage Burns at funeral

Pat Burns, who coached the New Jersey Devils to the 2003 Stanley Cup title, was remembered Monday for his booming voice, big heart and the ability to draw the most out of his players.
Players, coaches and executives from across hockey gathered for his funeral. Burns died of cancer this month at 58.

Avalanche, Bruins exchange Hunwick, Cohen

The Colorado Avalanche have swapped defensemen with Boston, sending Colby Cohen to the Bruins for Matt Hunwick.
Hunwick, 25, has a goal and two assists in 22 games for the Bruins this season. A seventh-round pick by Boston in 2004, Hunwick has played in 164 games and has 45 points.
