Bruins sign Wheeler to one-year, $2.2 million deal

The Calgary Flames avoided arbitration with Ian White by signing the defenseman to a one-year contract Friday.

The Anaheim Ducks have signed defenseman Cam Fowler to a three-year contract, likely putting the first-round draft pick on a fast track to the NHL.
