Moyes challenges Reinsdorfs bid for Coyotes

Phoenix Coyotes owner Jerry Moyes has challenged Jerry Reinsdorfs bid to buy the financially troubled hockey team.
In a motion filed in bankruptcy court on Thursday, Moyes attorney said that Reinsdorfs bid cannot be approved as a matter of law and that there are no qualified bidders based on terms set by the court.

Flyers sign D Tollefsen to 1-year deal

The Philadelphia Flyers and defenseman Ole-Kristian Tollefsen have agreed to a one-year contract.
The 25-year-old Tollefsen played in 19 games last season with the Columbus Blue Jackets, but he missed 39 regular-season games and all four in the playoffs due to injury.

Red Wings sign D Andy Delmore to 1-year contract

The Detroit Red Wings have signed free-agent defenseman Andy Delmore to a one-year contract.
The team announced the deal Tuesday but did not disclose terms.
The 32-year-old native of LaSalle, Ontario, has spent the last two seasons playing for the Hamburg Freezers in Germany. He previously played with Philadelphia, Nashville, Buffalo and Columbus.

Hurricanes buy out contract of D Kaberle

Maple Leafs acquire C Primeau from Flames

The Toronto Maple Leafs have acquired center Wayne Primeau from the Calgary Flames for defenseman Anton Stralman and forward Colin Stuart.
The Maple Leafs will also receive a second-round draft pick in 2011, and Calgary will get a 2012 seventh-round pick in the deal announced Monday.
