Dodgers moral-hander Brad Penny is expected to be out through the All-Star interruption after shutting down a replicated game Saturday with more pain in his shoulder.
Penny (5-9), who’s on a seven-game down element, has been on the disabled list since June 15 with tendinitis and fresh shoulder snags. He pitched well through the initial three shot of his pretend game but motionless in the fourth when he felt a emergent discomfort.
“He didn’t do anything on that particular highness, but all of a hasty, a little was bizarre,” Dodgers manager Joe Torre said. “He used all of his pitches, and near three or four (pitches) into the last (inning), he felt it, and that’s it.”
Torre doesn’t look forward to to get Penny back in the interchange for at least two weeks. He’ll be re-examined by a team family doctor on Monday.
Chan Ho Park, who started Saturday’s game against the San Francisco Giants, will stay in the revolution through the leg up, Torre said.
