Florida Marlins lefty Andrew Miller will be placed on the list retroactive to Monday with factual knee tendinitis.

The Marlins Thursday that Miller will be from his reserved Sunday plus, and the team will make a move before Friday’s game against the Philadelphia Phillies. The struggling Marlins jug is 5-9 with a 5.63 ERA this season.

Josh Johnson will now fright Sunday instead of Monday, with Chris Volstad free Monday instead of Tuesday.

Miller, part of the vocation that sent Miguel Cabrera and Dontrelle Willis to Detroit, has been dealing with in his knee since last season.

Former major leaguer and baseball commentator John Marzano was tanked-up when he fell down the flight of stairs and died in his home, the medicinal surveyor’s office said Thursday.

The root of Marzano’s death was resolute as “postural suffocation to by blunt damage and ethanol heavy drinking,” said Jeff Moran, spokesman for the therapeutic judge’s office. Moran said he could not elaborate.

Marzano, known as “Johnny Marz,” died in April at the age of 45. He was from Philadelphia and had been effective for Major League Baseball’s Web site, where he co-hosted a show on weekday .

Before assembly MLB’s Web site, Marzano was a baseball analyst on Comcast SportsNet for the status’s Philadelphia Phillies postgame shows. He had also appeared regularly on WIP-AM, a outdoor radio level.

A graduate of Temple University, Marzano earned a spot as a catcher on the 1984 U.S. Olympic team that involved coming key association stars Mark McGwire, Barry Larkin and Will Clark. He was drafted by the Boston Red Sox with the 14th global pick in the earliest round of the 1984 amateur outline.
