Caps Clark for Brashear, Anisimov for NYs Betts
Washington Capitals captain Chris Clark played for the first time since January, taking the place of suspended enforcer Donald Brashear for Tuesday nights Game 7 against the New York Rangers.
Brashear was suspended six games by the NHL for two separate incidents in Game 6.
Clark had not played since Jan. 27 because of a wrist injury.
For the Rangers, forward Artem Anisimov played in his second career NHL game. He took the place of center Blair Betts, who has a broken orbital bone in his eye socket from the hit that accounted for five games of Brashears six-game suspension.
Anisimov made his league debut Feb. 3 against Atlanta.
