CALGARY 5, BUFFALO 2

CALGARY, Alberta Mike Cammalleri recorded his second career hat trick as the Calgary Flames scored three times in the third period to post a 5-2 triumph over the Buffalo Sabres.

Todd Bertuzzi and defenseman Dion Phaneuf also tallied and All-Star Jarome Iginla and Craig Conroy notched two assists apiece for Calgary, which recorded its ninth win in its last 10 games at the Pengrowth Saddledome.

Miikka Kiprusoff turned aside 25 shots en route to his league-leading 29th win of the season.

Tim Connolly recorded a goal and an assist and Drew Stafford netted his fourth tally in two days for Buffalo, which fell to 4-2-0 in its last six games.

Ryan Miller made 38 saves for the Sabres.

NASHVILLE 5, VANCOUVER 3

VANCOUVER, British Columbia J.P. Dumont scored a power-play goal just over two minutes into the third period to snap a tie as the Nashville Predators handed the Vancouver Canucks their seventh straight defeat by rallying to a 5-3 triumph.

Captain Jason Arnott notched his 800th career point with his team-leading 16th goal and Joel Ward, Martin Erat and David Legwand also tallied for Nashville, which scored three power-play goals in a game for the first time this season.

Defensemen Dan Hamhuis and Ryan Suter recorded two assists apiece and rookie Pekka Rinne turned aside 27 shots for the Predators, who snapped a three-game losing streak.

Alex Burrows, Ryan Johnson and defenseman Sami Salo scored and All-Star goaltender Roberto Luongo made 33 saves for Vancouver, which lost its franchise-record eighth straight game at General Motors Place.

PITTSBURGH 6, NY RANGERS 2

PITTSBURGH Defenseman Kris Letang scored twice during a five-goal third period as the Pittsburgh Penguins skated to a 6-2 triumph over the New York Rangers.

Petr Sykora also netted two goals and captain Sidney Crosby added a tally and two assists for the Penguins, who have won four of their last six games.

Jordan Staal notched a goal and an assist while All-Star Evgeni Malkin and defenseman Ryan Whitney each set up a pair of tallies for Pittsburgh, which improved to 9-0-2 in its last 11 home meetings with New York.

Nikolai Zherdev and defenseman Marc Staal scored for the Rangers, who had won three of the first four matchups between the teams this season.

CHICAGO 3, ANAHEIM 2

ANAHEIM, California Nikolai Khabibulin made 36 saves and captain Jonathan Toews scored the winning goal as the Chicago Blackhawks began their season-high eight-game road trip with a 3-2 triumph over the Anaheim Ducks.

Adam Burish and All-Star Patrick Kane also scored for Chicago, which halted a two-game slide.

Rookie Bobby Ryan and former Blackhawk Travis Moen tallied for the Ducks, who were coming off a 2-3-0 road trip.
