CHICAGO 27, NEW ORLEANS 24 (OT)

CHICAGO The Chicago Bears parlayed a field goal on the last play of regulation and another one on the first drive in overtime into a 27-24 win over the New Orleans Saints.

Kyle Orton led the Bears 60 yards in 13 plays before Robbie Gould kicked a 28-yard field goal to tie the game at 24-24 with two seconds remaining in the fourth quarter.

Danieal Manning returned the opening kickoff 83 yards for a touchdown to give Chicago the early lead, but New Orleans tied the game at 7-7 after Drew Brees found Pierre Thomas for a 2-yard score in the second quarter.

Rookie Matt Forte then capped a 41-yard drive with a 1-yard run to make it 14-7, and Orton scored from six yards out in the final minute of the half to double the lead to 21-7.

Thomas scored on a 42-yard run in the third quarter and Garrett Hartley added a 30-yard field goal in the final quarter as New Orleans climbed within 21-17.
