CHICAGO 27, NEW ORLEANS 24 (OT)
CHICAGO The Chicago Bears parlayed a field goal on the last play of regulation and another one on the first drive in overtime into a 27-24 win over the New Orleans Saints.
Kyle Orton led the Bears 60 yards in 13 plays before Robbie Gould kicked a 28-yard field goal to tie the game at 24-24 with two seconds remaining in the fourth quarter.
The Bears won the coin toss in overtime and, aided by a 38-yard pass interference call on safety Roman Harper against Devin Hester, sent Gould out for a 35-yard field goal that won the game with 12:19 left in overtime.
Danieal Manning returned the opening kickoff 83 yards for a touchdown to give Chicago the early lead, but New Orleans tied the game at 7-7 after Drew Brees found Pierre Thomas for a 2-yard score in the second quarter.
Rookie Matt Forte then capped a 41-yard drive with a 1-yard run to make it 14-7, and Orton scored from six yards out in the final minute of the half to double the lead to 21-7.
Thomas scored on a 42-yard run in the third quarter and Garrett Hartley added a 30-yard field goal in the final quarter as New Orleans climbed within 21-17.
The Saints took a 24-21 lead with 3:10 left when Brees hit Marques Colston from 11 yards.
