The University of Missouri-Kansas City on Wednesday signed men basketball coach Matt Brown to a contract. Extension through the 2012-2013 season.
In his first season in Kansas City, Brown guided the Kangaroos to an 11-21 record, including a 6-12 mark in Summit League play.
Mike Brown is conducting his program in a first-class manner - in all areas, UMKC director of athletics Tim Hall said. He is laying the foundation for future success for UMKC mens basketball and the more broad athletic department.
